And to keep the game alive while the person has a chance to rejoin - temporarily make the game 3v3 with the extra player rotated off the bench on each death.

Out of interest - how would you abuse it?
I thought it at least kept the game closer while the person who dropped out had a chance to rejoin.
And if they don’t then at least 3v3 is more interesting than 4v3.
If they brought in a bronze player, then had them quit at the beginning, or after a kill, then it would allow for them to abuse getting rid of another player. Or if you need to run a flag, get the ball, etc. I get the want to balance things out, and on the surface it makes sense, I just know how these things go, and it would be abused.

Sounds interesting but is not kinda fair besidés all the pther games mention dont have that feature it just let you rd join the game amd thats all we need 343 needs tp add this feature is 2022 how do you advertise ypur game as and esport game but dont have a simple feature the would help your game even more with all the problems it already have is been 4 month and this games has being the same since launch love the game but is so fustrating to even play it … and is a turn off your winning a odball game the game crashes and then your stock on a 3v4 lose points and the other team that was losing by a large margen just wins cuz off that … just let us rejoin let us fight back let us play let it be fair. Re join would ruin ranked. Someone rejoining at a crucial time would throw off the entire game.
Ok buddy like forcin player to play a 3v4 is fair is not is not like halo 3 o reach that if a player rejoins u get black screen while the game swiches host the game dont stop so him rejoining the game he actually got booted is the fair thing to do u saying that is clrear to me u havent olay a competitive game yet if that was the case then league would be wrong smite would be wrong and apex would we wrong … lol

U having a lead on ctf 2 to 1 u had 15 mins to cap or tied they pull your flag and u get stock on and unlimited overtime laps like having one more flag than them is not quite right to earn you the win the fact they force the winning team to and over time just cuz u feel like it is terrible it should had a timer for 30seconds u have 30 seconds to return your flag and cap it not unlimited time is just punish the team efford to actually have a lead if u can just grab there flag and have ulimited time at overtime thats unfair is no manylevels .
The goal is to fix the game and or making it more enticing to stay.
The goal isn’t to add in a rejoin feature. Yes it sucks when people leave but a re join feature is not the answer

Rejoin is sorely needed for random disconnects. No idea why it isn’t a feature.
As for ‘abusing’ it - the bronze player example is another problem - there should be no bronze player in say diamond or onyx game, no matter how good friend of onyx player they are. There should be a limit on how far apart can people be in ranks to play ranked together. Playing 3v4 because someone disconnected sucks. Reducing it to 3v3 with one player sitting on the bench is the best solution I can think of.
Also, people disconnecting or leaving should be prevented from joining other games (especially ranked) until the game they left is finished. And leaving a losing match should be additionally punished. I’ve been in many matches where we were losing and I always stay until the end. On the other hand, I was in matches where we still won even being 3v4.
Maybe an option to vote to surrender if you’re losing badly is a thing to consider. On the other hand, I don’t think Spartans should ever surrender. Master Chief solos whole Zeta without a team

The fact that is one of them quit you dont get point for winning atleast not the much but when someone on your team gets booted u lose 10 points is terrible and depresive

In apex rank if u get booted u get a loss forgivenes atleast once a day
If some leaves early u dont lose point and the player that quited gets ban and lose over 40 points
Plus if the game crashes they give u the rejoin option to atleaßt spectate if one of your teamates is still alive
This game is depresive and fustrating make u dont want to play it ever again …
No contend is 4 month after the game release and no updates no conted no nothing LIKE DP THEY ACTUALLY LISENTS TO US ??? Or do they just say they do to keep us silence … fix your game 343
