I think, given halo’s relatively harsh ban system in play (and rightly so) they’re should be the opportunity to re-join the game if disconnected.
Far too many times, my phone charger cable has brushed my xbox power button and switched it off mid game and its really annoying, why they have a power button this sensitive is beyond me, but halo should allow a re-join system like league of legends.
Then shouldnt you move your phone cable?

I’am agree whith you, with tis system if the player re-join he finish the game and the team have a chance to win, and if the player was not reconnect after the end of the game, he was baned.
For me It is the solution to the random ban, the connecrion problems of some players, ect…
I think it was a very good idea to put this system in halo 5, because nobody can join in mid game and especialy because if you are in 3v4 you cant win and it is not balanced.
They should put in something so you can rejoin… If you get a disconnect because of them… give you the option to rejoin the game instead of dropping someone else in the game that was expecting a new game. Yesterday, and now my first game today I’ve either got drop from a game or a JIP game. I don’t quit because I want the req points to unlock more toys to play with. I really don’t care to much about the DNF because I only play wz. But it still sucks when it happens so often.
