Re: Halo reach and it's game play

I belong to a group of Halo players over the age of 30 who have been playing since CE was brand new with our Xbox. We enjoy this game and what it bring to the gaming community. We see a disturbing trend which we would like to ask what has happened to our game. Reach had great game play mostly smooth with some small issues in the form of lag and weapons functions.

We all believe that Reach has transformed into a test platform for the new Halo 4 due out this December. The TU game lists are confusing and at best very average. Our group has found little or no advatages to these changes. More so it has created pushing a large group of people from playing this game every night to once or twice a week.

The nucleus of our group have played together 4 years almost every night. The game is our break from reality. The one thing we enjoy after a long day at work and a fight thru traffic to get back home.

I would not give you a issue with out a solution. Place a poll or voting site on Waypoint and poll the group that uses this site for its Halo information on a regular basis. And let us know if we are being used as Beta Testers for the new game.

Such a pool would not be accurate, I’m surprised a 30 years old man doesn’t realize such an obvious thing. Only a small part of people out of the total players of Reach actually browse these forums.

Besides, the TU has improved Reach’s gameplay by a lot. It has also increased the skill gap, so maybe you and your friends are having some troubles with the updates as you might get stomped by better players more often.
I also advise you and your friends to read all the TU changes. This way you’ll know what the changes are, how to deal with them and then adapt consequently.

14 posts from 200+ members quantifies a “We all believe”… especially when you’re the only one that stated that within that thread?

There is no way reach is being used as a beta test. Perhaps its something like a focus group.
