Ravine

Imo Ravine is pretty small and the fact that I can’t really forge over the massive ocean and over to the islands in the distance it pretty ridiculous, and the pockets of kill boundaries that are throughout the space I can forge on is even more ridiculous. I love the scenery of the ocean and islands and I was wondering if anyone thinks 343 would ever push the kill boundaries way out on ravine in a future update?

I have the same concerns about erosion and impact, although impact is a decent size I just find it hard to adapt after having the size of forging space we had in reach.

do you want to know whats even MORE rediculous is that you can even put an object far in the ground without it bouncing back up!!

This drives me nuts, especially on Erosion.

But, but, but!
It’s still variety, whether they’re horrible for forging or not!
After all, what we obviously wanted was a loss of functionality and workability in exchange for pretty rocks.

Yeah I think they should tweak things like that too it is irritating, I just hope they can push the boundaries out in an update, it seems such a waste that we can’t use up that massive space on ravine. I actually think impact, erosion and ravine could fit into reach’s forge world.

I remember first time I booted up ravine and thought “there’s so much airspace to work with!”
Only to find there were kill boundaries no more than 150 yds. From the island. I don’t get why you would restrict is so much…

Yeah it’s so small I was trying to make a trace track starting from the main island (well the only island) and building out towards the ocean at the front and after placeing like 2 colosseum walls from the edge of the island i hit a kill boundary.

Then I wanted to give the track a downwards slope and after a few feet again I hit another kill boundary. So there was no way they I could get this done so I just had to scrap it and go to impact which does give me more freedom to forge but I find myself hitting some kill boundaries there too.

I really hope they can somehow push the boundaries way out in a future update because imo they have taken away one of the main features of what makes forge good and thats the vastness of the maps.

to me ravine is a useless forge map. the terrain is really small. and most of the time you have to build off the cliff floating over the ocean

> to me ravine is a useless forge map. the terrain is really small. and most of the time you have to build off the cliff floating over the ocean

I see it as that I am forced to forge only on the island as we are given barely any space to go out to the ocean and we can’t even touch the water either which then restricts us from having any height/depth to our maps.

I agree these forge maps are too small I would love to go to the other islands on Ravine.

Here, check out this thread. I made it about a week ago and it’s getting more popular. It’s about Forging DLC, I would love your guy’s feedback and opinions on it. Together, we could possibly get a future ALL forge DLC released!

We need more forging enviroments please 343!

Thanks guys!

Please, just remove those worthless kill boundaries!
