In the flight the Ravager was probably my favourite new weapon. But now I don’t even bother picking it up.
Tech preview/Flight:
3 headshots (1 burst headshots) = kill
Extremely hard to pull of on moving enemies, more or less never happened, but if it did you’d be proud.
6 bodyshots (2 bursts)=kill
It was common to kill in 2-4 bursts depending on accuracy or 1 burst plus melee.
Beta:
Headshots make no difference anymore.
9 shots, 3 bursts = perfect kill.
I’m gonna put this in perspective by comparing it to the BR. It take 1 less shot for perfect kill but is more limited when it comes to effective range, and also has a slower rate of fire and velocity. Arguably a bit harder to use. Splash damage is near nothing.
I have yet not looked at the times to kill, but I’m gonna make a rough guess that it’s quite close to the BR. Which is already way slower than the two starting-weapons.
This gun no longer feels like a power or even semi power weapon. Instead feels like a loadout weapon. I miss that brutal feeling of this gun.
The alt fire can have uses in very specific situations. But Not enough to make me want to pick this weapon up.
