Halo Infinite was recently rated M in Australia. While this does not indicate Infinite will be rated M on ESRB (Halo 5 was also rated M in Australia), it does give us an idea of the release date. It was rated a week after Forza Horizon 5 which releases November 9. This would indicate a November 16 release date for Halo Infinite. This would be a day after CE’s 20th anniversary and a Tuesday then Halo games usually release. Although this isn’t an exact indication of the release date, I think November 16 is the most likely release date for Halo Infinite at this point. What do you guys think?
Australia’s M rating seems to align most closely with the ESRB Teen rating so that isn’t too surprising to me. I’m not sure how much evidence this is of a release date unless games a required to be rated in Australia a certain amount of time before they can be released. Still it is telling that Forza Horizon 5 got rated a week before Halo did and the week after Forza releases is the 20th anniversary. I’m about 70% confident that we’ll get a release date during Gamescom so hopefully we’ll know when the game comes out soon.
