For those who have the bundle, what would you give it for a rating so far.
If you give your rating please explain why you gave that rating with ups and downs about the bundle and was it worth the money?
Me I give it a 5/5, I honestly see nothing majorly wrong with it and I think it’s the best halo dlc to ever come out. Armor looks sweat, maps are awesome, love the new gametype, I think the stances are funny when you put them in a certain way in the lobbies with friends, and I like the weapon skins.
Pitfall plays dreadful with Ricochet due to an excess of power weapons and the fact that halo 4’s BR is MUCH more lethal than halo 3’s, other than that i love the bundle. so 4/5 pitfall ricochet lets it down.
5/5 I tend not too care for DLC, but this was worth it, nice armour, cool skins, decent maps, early access to my new favourite gametype, the only other DLC I’ve enjoyed this much was Anniversary
The new maps; Pitfall and Vertigo, are both outstanding, and Ricochet gametype can be a lot of fun; but more so if they up the score limit.
The big issue with this DLC is the additional content; the new armors (Mark V, ODST, Prefect, and Ricochet) new weapon skins, armor skins, and armor mods; and the fact that they don’t work in Spartan Ops.
I’m one of those who has always gravitated more towards the single-player and co-op aspects of Halo; I think I played Firefight in Halo:Reach more than I did matchmaking, and I’ve definitely enjoyed Spartan Ops more than War Games in Halo 4.
The new armors and weapon skins look awesome, but the fact that I can’t use any of them in my favorite game mode is a huge disappointment. I was really excited for this DLC, too…
There’s also another lesser, but nevertheless annoying glitch in War Games where your armor appears as Scout/Inner-Plated in first person if you’re wearing any of the new armors, further detracting from the DLC.
Combine that with broken, buggy achievements (one of which actually requires you to go AFK if you can believe it) and I can’t give this DLC a high score.
If 343i were to fix the issue with using the new content in Spartans as well as the first-person armor glitch, I’ll change my score to 5/5. However, 343i says they have no plans to fix it; I can only hope that they make plans.
Personally I think it sucks because 343i CHOSE to make it exclusive to Wargames making it utterly useless to people who wanted to enjoy the content in Spartan Ops. There’s nothing special about these skins or mods to disclude them from being able to work in SPOPS.
And the worse part is 343 never once disclosed it would be Wargames exclusive content. Sure the majoriy of the Halo gamers are in WG, but right now over 600 players are in SPOPS and that is just as many as WG modes like the Pitt or Griffball.
I have personally lost all faith in 343i as a worthy successor to carry Halo; they’re just another lapdog MS studio now.
I will always love the Halo universe, but because of 343 and the methods they utilize, I’ve little faith in the future of the Halo universe :’(
The Pit (or Pitfall) remake is meh at best, and Vertigo is not really that good of a map “IMO (so people dont whine about it)”
Skins I have never really cared for and I still dont think they should of been in Halo to begin with.
Add to that the fact that armor doesnt work on SPOPS or Campaign and that it was never mentioned anywhere (except for a lone post by BS angel on a random thread onthe forums) and yeah…

2 great maps one of which is a beloved classic. Cool armor. Cool weapon skins. Early access to an armor mod and the fantastic Ricochet gametype. I don’t see why you wouldn’t buy it.

Doesnt work for campaign or SPOPS as well as first person view on MM (This last one only refers to the armors).
I would give it 4/5 for not being compatible with Spartan Ops, but I really don’t mind now. I would rather have 343’s full team focusing on their next game by now, rather than using more resources to add the new stuff on Spartan Ops.
Ricochet is so intense on Pitfall… I love it! And I cannot even describe how much I like Pitfall and Vertigo with words. The stances are great, and so are the new armor and weapon skins.

The armors are a welcome addition to Halo, Prefect is the best of the bunch and you can’t go wrong with MK V. Pitfall is just a reskin, albeit a fine one. Vertigo is just like any other DLC map, uninteresting and mostly unseen because of the matchmaking search settings. The stances are the standout feature of the bundle. Aside from maybe seasoned looking like a default option, the other seven are great.
The glitches of first person scout/inner plated arms I can let slide, it’s the first armor DLC ever and honestly it’s enough for me we’re even getting it. The armors not working in SPOPS MAYBE I can also forgive, but the weapon skins not working? Unacceptable. 343i being deliberately silent on these issues? Outright misinformation on their part.
Temper your enthusiasm for the bundle, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be but the content you’re getting is worth the price tag if you want it after knowing the whole picture.

GAH! I forgot about that and gave it a 5… If I could take it back, I’d have to give it a 3 or 4 for two reasons:
Like Aryck the One stated, you can’t use them in SO which is something me and my brother do all the time… and we always look at how awesome we look while doing it, and nothing’s worse than trying to see how awesome you look, and being greeted by Recruit… That’s not awesome!
Yet again, 343 has had another mess up with this game. There’s been too many issues with how they’ve ran this game whether it’s been releasing DLC or running their servers. If it was the first time they’ve had an issue with a DLC, this would be no big deal, but it isn’t. The way they’ve run this game technically has been too consistently spotty to continue throwing out the “oh, it’s ok” card and give them the benefit of the doubt.
Other than that, it’s been hands down the best DLC to date.

Um, why would it work for campaign? As for SOps that I’m sure will be fixed in a future TU and even if you play SOps a majority of the time and MM sparingly you should still get it.
Um of course it doesn’t work in campaign, master chiefs armor is unchangeable and there’s no need for skins in campaign anyways. find the point invalid.
