Rate of Fire in TU

All other weapons aside, I feel the rate of fire for the pistol and DMR should be decreased significantly.

Considering the pistol is a 4 shot kill, it makes sense to decrease the rate of fire, and when you’re playing ZB slayer, the DMR kills players considerable fast.

Thoughts?

Agreed, this is what messed up the gameplay.

both pistol and DMR are 5-shot kills

Magnum is 4 shots now for whatever reason.

No, the rate of fire is fine.

Slowing down the Rof would mean also slowing gameplay. Everybody would be firing limited guns and could just run away no problem. The most effective way to make a kill would be melee and one shot to the head and that happens enough already. But it would really depend on how much you would reduce the Rof. If the DMR/Magnum went…boom!..boom!..boom!..boom!.. It would be rediculous and make the game worse than Reach.

I disagree. With the current rate of fire with the DMR and pistol, escaping an enemy is virtually impossible. If you’re getting shot from behind, you’re going to die before you can turn around or try and escape. Players should have some chance to do damage to the opponent, instead of a person becoming a sitting duck if they didn’t get the first shot off.
