I, GamerPeepFreaks, have recently made a new map “Rasad”. I have shown it to multiple people who have all said it is competitive worthy and I wanted to know the community’s response to it. Add me on Xbox (you can always delete me later): GamerPeepFreaks. It will be under my book marked, play a round of slayer or strongholds on there and let me know what you think of it either by messaging me or replying to this forum post.
Details on the map:

4v4v4v4 (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green) - 8v8 (big team, Red vs. Blue [You can do strongholds with big team it will just be a bit hectic]) - 4v4 (Arena, strongholds, Red vs. Blue) - 2v2 (bit big for 2v2 slayer but still fun [expect slow gameplay with 2v2]) - 2 power weapons (Shotgun and Spnkr) - Semi-Symmetrical - Map overview w/ gun locations (Some objects have been added but weapons are in same places) http://imgur.com/fJfJXSG - There is a lower mid as along with an upper mid. - Let me know what you think!! - Every area of the map has a name making callouts key! I’ll take a look, but just by looking at your details, it seems to be a btb map, cuz 2v2 and 4v4 really shouldn’t be on maps that fit 8v8 imo as it drags games on to long.
EDIT after trying map: it’s ok, I can see 4v4 slayer working on it, idk about strongholds. The BR placements are good but if I remember right, you have 4 of them, I think two may be better, especially when you already have a carbine and a halo CE pistol next to a few of them. O/S is in a good spot, seems like both teams have the same distance to get there so it’ll be whomever does it the fastest. Seems to have a lot of places to hide, like a crowded map and being in mid of map would probably be a bad thing or a good thing depending on the team. Taking high mid gives the obvious height advantage, bottom mid could be s good spot to regroup or it could be a death trap if the other team is good at blocking exits off. That’s my take on the map, I’m no expert so don’t take my words to heart, I always appreciate forgers who make me “my maps” (sarcastic) since I’m to lazy to do it myself. Seriously though I think you spent quite a bit of time on the map and it seems to be a decent map for competitive play, I’m still not quite sure on a 2v2 scenario but I can see 4v4 and 8v8 working.
FYI: I’m no forger so I have no idea if it’s forge itself or just your map, but I couldn’t pickup the magnum unless I meleed it, it was like it was stuck in the ground or something. There were also sound issues where I ended up getting no sound for a quick second and then it’d come right back immediately and the walls flashed in a sense or something like that, maybe it was just me, idk.

Depends on size with 4v4, some can work like Guilotine isn’t that bad for it. 2v2? I don’t think that could ever work on a map for 16 people

Thank you so much for the response! I have now taken away two of the BR’s and moved the pistols up an inch so they shouldn’t glitch out. Enjoy!
