I know the DMR’s are really good but what is the point of getting a dmr that you can only use at the very end if the game ends by the time you get it? Just seems so pointless to use the rare dmr. I wont really care once i get the other dmr versions but i would like to use the only one that i have.
Anyone else have the rare dmr?
I have 2 rare DMRs but they are both level 6 req level which is still too high to use in Assault:(

I agree. I have the Recon DMR, and I have to wait nearer until the end of a Warzone match to be able to use it at 8 REQs. Shame, really.

Dang, was hoping that would be Req 5. If you are on a bad team, sometimes it’s hard to even get to 6 or 7.

it just seems so pointless really. like come on,i have it and i want use it but i cant. just sucks
I’m fine with my DMR. I get the long range BR at REQ level 5. It’s okay but DMR beats it by a million times. I usually stick to my long range SMG until I unlock the DMR.
Normal DMR is Req level 6.
DMR with Kinetic Bolts is Req level 7
DMR with Laser Targeter is Req level 8
DMR with Energy Bayonet is Req level 8
Sentinel DMR with Jet Stabilizers is Req Level 8.
It should be lowered to get. Req 6 is at best half way through the match.
I have the basic rare DMR and it is req 7, which I usually hit by about 500 points in so…not fussed

See the laser targeter and jet stabilizers shouldn’t be the same rank as the energy bayonet. The bayonet is that high because it is a one shot melee, the other perks should be lowered to 7. And honestly I want to say I want the base DMR at req level 5 but I doubt 343 would do that.

I have the long shot, level 8… So dumb in my opinion, you should be able to use it before the effin sniper rifle lol just my opinion though.
I usually spawn with a standard BR and a long shot BR. That holds me out until I get to req 6 for the DMR.
Not to go too far off topic, but why do I get the feeling with the DMR being so rare that 343i might change something in the future for this weapon? Because lets face it people, we got the SMG EXTREMELY EARLY, so why would they make the DMR so hard to acquire. Lets all ignore the fact the DMR is “overpowered” since the way I see it, its all a matter of preference. I can make accurate, precision shots with a DMR, but my hands and aim are crippled when I use a BR. I just hope they give out base DMRs at some point without having to buy absurd amounts of REQ packs for it.
It’s -Yoink- I just unlocked the most basic dmr and it’s L6 req to use it shod be a4 or 5 and the recon one should be a 3 or 4. I just can get a good game out of it
I feel the base DMR should be 4 and then the rest should progressively go up but I don’t even have a DMR yet so it doesn’t effect me as much. I would probably still use one of my 6 or 7 BRs anyways
The DMR is level 6. You must have one that has a special attachment on it.
Yeah, and in my experience its not that much better than a BR. It should be dropped to 4-5 for sure.
I dont think i have ever used any of my level 8 gear. I just had a game where level 8 unlock was announced as the game ended.
