Can you tell me again why you must kill me when I leave the map? Why is there not just a WALL that the player can’t go further than? Cause when that is combined with forge’s -Yoink- no respawn system that SOMEHOW made it past you guys it becomes a TERRIBLE COMBINATION. I understand halo 3 had Easter eggs with something interesting that killed you when you left the map, but that’s no longer there so why must I rotate around one object… Die… And the can’t respawn?

I can relate to this. I’ve stated many times that 343 needs to severely extend the boundaries of their maps and make a wider soft kill border. The maps themselves are massive. When you’re in a forge ball, you’re under the illusion that the map is tiny and insignificant because you can so easily dart from side to the other, but once you’re a spartan, try navigating across the map, perhaps even without sprinting. The issue is still an issue however, I’m not really content with how easy and abrupt you die when trying to build.
I was about to start building a Spire structure from Reach on Alpine, so for good measure, I flew up as high as I could to see if I could get just above the main rock formation of the canvas.
lol, nope.

Yeh, I agree. 343 -Yoinked!- up with the no respawning. ANd if there’s none on the map, I can no longer -Yoinking!- edit my map I’ve spent hours on! I’m working on a remake of Beaver Creek, and I died before I’d put down the respawn points and now I can’t play or edit it. I am very -Yoinking!- angry and this needs to be fixed.
Does anyone know if there are spawn sequence built into forge?
And like… I get ideas and remove everything… I’m not going to remember “the games fuvked up, better drop that respawn point”… I just think… Ok so get all the -Yoink- off the map first… This goes here… That goes there… And man this’ll look cool here…(dies)… (Doesn’t respawn)… Turns off Xbox for the day! Really starting to question who these professionals were!

the map size is an illusion, your spartan is slower than previous games without sprint, and even with it you only have maybe a 10% increase to top speed. As for air space, theres no reason why it cant be higher, its just air. The barriers should be like Reach.
