with the new ranking in halo 4 will there be matches that have a level 10 with level 30+? i wonder this b/c of how you unlock wepons armor ability and stuff like that. it would give a hell of a upper hand to that team.
I’d assume it would be like that, if it isn’t, it’s stupid.

No it isn’t. How is keeping people who have every weapon available at spawn from playing with people who only have an AR and pistol stupid? This sort of imbalance is the sole reason I don’t play CoD.

There are pre-set loadouts depending on the gametype.
Players who are ranked SR-1 won’t have hard time against SR-10+ players.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never been beaten with an Assault Rifle whilst using a precision weapon.
Maybe you picked up my original point wrong?

I hear the AR can actually beat precision weapon users depending on the circumstances.

I was under the impression that we could either use the presets or our own custom loadouts. While the presets help balance I’m still concerned as I won’t be getting Halo 4 on day one, but closer to New Years and am worried I’ll get destroyed simply because I haven’t had it the same amount of time as most users.

It’s not that hard for an experienced player to beat an inexperienced player with an AR while the inexperienced player is using a precision weapon
they might be able to spawn with an extra mag and rank up faster!!! huge game breaker right there.

I think in some playlists you have the option to choose whatever you like (Infinity playists, I think there could be more.), and then in all the other playlists, there’re preset loadouts.

You can get BR/DMR since level 2 (From what i saw at one of the events) And level two is around 500x. So it would be 1 match without a precision weapon.

RUN. GET TO THE NEOGAF FORUMS AND NEVER LOOK BACK
In all playlists that your personal loadouts can be picked, it should work like this.
Levels: 0-10 11-20 21-30 41-50 51+
You only have the option to play with people in your level range. So once you get to level 11 you no longer can play level 0-10 infinity slayer.
Even if you are SR-1 and the other player is SR-50, the game still tires to match people up according to true skill. Which in visible only to you and not others.
So even if you get paired up with a SR-50, you’d still stand a good chance against them.
