Don’t worry I’m not going to complain. This doesn’t bother me in the slightest, considering I know nothing about it.
Can someone explain to me what this is with not visible ranks? Does it mean that it does not show your Sr level next to your name?
If someone could explain it to me that would be great.
There are a lot of post about this already. Even a Q&A. There are ranks, at the moment the are hidden. After a while 343 will find a way to show them to you. But for the time being they are hidden until data is gathered. The main reason they wanted to get rid of it was due to “boosting” and the selling of accounts.
Stay tuned to 343 releases.
Just to be clear, when they release our ranks, will it show like “Sr-24” next to our names?
Am I getting this right? Or am I way off track?
Easy. Here are the specifics.
We have SR-1 to SR-130, after completing to SR-50 and finishing all specializations. It is always visible.
And then we have the completely different CSR, Competitive Skill Ranking, which still needs time to be implemented into the game. As such, 343 will continue taking in your stats, which will be used for your CSR when they implement it.
CSR is not yet in the game; Once implemented, it will be visible only on Waypoint. This way, you can know your own rank, but other people can’t bash and brag and insult others about it in-game.
it’ll only be viewable in Halo Waypoint, NOT in-game.

And this is CSR or Sr?

CSR.
SR is displayed on your Spartan Profile, which is in-game.

Thanks for the explanations. I really appreciate it.
