I have not completed my placement matches in any ranked playlists, but my profile says I’m gold 5 in SOCIAL fiesta?! Can anyone explain why there are ranks in social?
Now my only goal in life is to be Champion in Grifball.
The rank is just hidden for social playlists simple as that.

lol. I’ve went to my stats and I’ve never saw that there is a ranking in grifball just the regular ranked playlists
Because during 3.5 years of development, not ONE person said “Maybe we should have Social?”

That sounds like a mistake. But where did you see that?
Something like the ranks are hidden so the game can try and place you in “balanced” and “equal skilled” matches, so people without a fireteam don’t get ROFLstomped by a fireteam of Diamond/Oynx players.

But his rank isn’t hidden. I think its common knowledge that there are hidden ranks, but he said that it actually shows a rank somewhere.

If you get your highest rank in a social playlist then it will show up as your highest CSR achieved which is why people can see it.
