Just finished playing an ordinary game on empire we lost and I lost 56 ranking points. I am fine with this until I got a message from one of the opopposing players saying “not bad scince you were on your own”. This gave me a wicked idea. No ranking should occur for both teams if one person leaves. To add to that the quiter should be sent to the bottom of his bracket. Side note this may screw up BTB. Oh and I went 13-12 since I was lucky enough for it to happen at the end of the game. Please leave your thoughts and ideas and Please don’t be nasty be constructive.

Yeah I agree and you do lose quite alot of of csr points if you do quit…
The reason I quit some games is that when you play on a dedicated server abroad it creates a small delay for you which makes it almost impossible to get kills, I figure I would do more bad than good if i stayed the match plus its frustrating as hell so I quit…

Yea this happens to me quite often. I hate it. hate it. hate it. I remember being the only one left on my team after about 4 min into the game. I finished it out. It was a massacre. I winced at how my K/D was just getting decimated. I died so much it was ridiculous. I hated those guys for quoting on me. But soon after I was in a game and somehow I dropped internet connection at may house and I was disconnected from the game. Now from those guys perspective I was the one that quit. So now my perspective has changed. I never quit. I will keep on to a fault. That is probably why I suck cause I don’t know how to disengage. At any rate some people quit cause they are quitters and some people loose connection. I don’t know how they can balance the penalties for this.

I would normally agree with you on this but what about people that get booted from the game due to network issues with the game, I have lost connection to some games before and was at the top of the table but get back the game and I have droped about 15 pts, which was annoying when I was so close to getting my onyx rank 
I had to quit my match last night, because my controller died and I had no spare batteries… so, I just shut off my One and went to sleep. When I hopped on again today, I lost like 40 performance points! I understand that there is a need for punishing those who quit, but c’mon, 40 points, what is this crap!? I pray the final Ranking system actually works in the final build, because this Betas ranking system is just broken garbage…
There will be a lot more people quitting to quit than there will be quitting because of “other” reasons. So keep the ranking like it is and suffer the consequence if you should quit because of “other” reasons.
If your already down a player you should be able to quit with no penalty. The winning team should get half the points they would normally receive considering they very well could of forced a rage quit due to a huge lead.
dude I hate the ranking system when you rank up you should at least stay with in the experience bar rather than keep going down to your previous rank. Even if you get a rather good K/D if your team lost theirs no sense of acknowledgement not to mention that no matter what losing will hurt your rank no matter what and the menu U.I just ruins it.
example lets say your forming a fireteam with friends when leaving a game with your friends because of horrible lag in the other team you will get a notification to leave with said team it will then act as if you were the only one ever playing and leave the rest in it. Even the gameplay feels like it’s something to be left desired because it feels like the moment you get shot you are basically screwed with no real moment to react when someone uses an automatic and even the DMR feels useless now because compared the BR because that can actually do damage I feel like the shields should Last about 4-3 seconds longer rather than now. Not to mention that the customization now feels so downgraded it MAKES COD:AW actually better because when I level up I feel like I should play more to unlock new armor and stuff and look to my specifications now it just feels nothing like it’s not even my own as if 343 isn’t even trying. Now the maps wish there was more to it than just close quarter style maps I wanna see more like some BTB with new Vehicles and stuff not just different variant weapons I’ve seen already hell I don’t even get why they added in a different Name to the energy Sword to be the Prophets bane like what makes it different? besides looking similar to a fish fossil these are my complaints personally
