player rankings should be visible in the pregame lobby. this isn’t a huge problem but just something that would please a bunch of people.
Yea I was thinking the same thing, rankings aren’t visible enough. I don’t really care for SR, I’d rather see the other rank. I think the only drawback could be people quitting before the game starts because they see someone with a high rank.
It would cause too much people backing out of lobbies before they start. If I see a bronze player on my team I’m not going to stay and most likely lose a match, and I’m sure if an onyx player saw me on their team they’d do the same and leave instead of carrying me.
I don’t know I think they did it to:
- reduce match load times
- prevent people quitting before the match starts when they see the rating of the other team
I can’t upvote this enough. I want to know what I’m matching up against, and it makes the ranking more meaningful
Addressing the people quitting issue, there’s already a consequence to shutting off the game once you’re matched up so that should be incentive enough to keep people from bailing just from seeing people’s rank.
I may go as far as to say I wish it showed a pure match up of your team vs their team and give you a quick run down of everyone’s stats while the map is loading.
- It was in beta, but now visible after game, 343 trolling - Names of players and service record visible in beta, but now gone to after game, they troll again - Could see if anyone had a mic in beta, gone da -Yoink-? - Cant tell if anyone is blue or red team… Umm, even CE could get this rightSooooo did Community feedback tell 343 to nerf pregame UI Lobby? Must have, or else there is a clown Pulling the strings.
I love that they brought this back to Halo. Players now a days quit in pregame lobby because they see/inspect the opposing team and decide they rather quit in pregame than play against people that may or may not be better than them. Now you have the other team that is down a teammate because he or she was not willing to play against the other team. You don’t need to know who you are playing against.
Absoluted not needed. This will and has caused too many people to quit right before the match. Gears of War:Remastered is horrible for this. IF you go in and leveled under 10 NOBODY wants you on their team. So you sit thru 15 minutes of people coming and going before getting a match.

If you’re seeing a bronze on your team then they would be within your rank.
Hence it ain’t gonna happen unless you’re in that bracket of play.
