For the ranking system of Halo Infinite can we please stray away from the same old experience system where you gain X amount of experience per game … Halo 3 had the greatest ranking system of any game I’ve ever played, where skill actually meant something by being able to level up in two different ways; overall experience and ranked playlist skill level. I LOVED checking my rank anytime I got a new one because it would be like next level is example: 1,000 exp or Rank 25. Back then seeing a General in multiplayer held more respect than a maxed prestige person in any game since.
Please 343 stray away from the same old boring leveling system and give us two ways to advanced in ranks like in Halo 3 <3

Yes yes we do. There are 2 types of ranks. One is Spartan Rank(SR) which is from 1 to 152. This one is EXP based. And the other one is Skill Rank which is Bronze to Champion.

Right, so I’m confused by the suggestion. Maybe OP didn’t play H5 and just assumed?
I think what he is saying is , he wants a consistent skill rank that fluctuates with wins and losses , that doesn’t reset. I know the appeal. I personally hate arena and have since Reach.
There are two ranks in the most current Halo. Skill based and playtime based. Skill based resets each season whereas playtime based never resets and is your overall rank.
