Ranking

Is it just me or is for example 1 gold to 6 gold a brutal fight to reach Platinum?
Would it be better off being 1-4 instead due to the complete inconsistency of team mates?

tbh I think that six subranks within each division is a bit long and I think it should be <Division> Five and then you go up a rank
Because as a solo player i’ve gone from Diamond 1 to Diamond 4-5 (This keeps changing throughout the last few matches) but I can never seem to get up to six as of yet.

But hopefully 343 will listen to the players and queue people in teams against other people in teams and the inconsistency of team mastes or enemies should go soon
COUGH COUGH AHEM COUGH

yeah not wrong I had to grind 3-4 days to get into Diamond with random team mates and boy golly was it hard

I agree it is a little off balance being completely w/l based. I think there should be an underlying algorithm that factors individual performance into the equation. OR even if you are top player on a losing team, you are exempt from the negative impact of the loss

Im not one to have exceptional k/d or anything but don’t you think they try to balance it that way? if your a solo player youll get matched up with other solo players at your skill and if you have twenty friends for warzone itll attempt to match you with a team of equal skill or rank

You could always join a company. I know i tend to do better when playing with friends, or at least people in the same party chat.

I am having an impossible time trying to claw my way out of gold. I went to Gold 2 and lost it next match as most games seem to be you get stomped or stomp the other team. Not much in between. Its also pretty obvious when you play against team vs matched solo players.

not to be up myself but I had awesome K/D but my allies didn’t so I lose quite often and clawing into diamond was a massive challenge

Add me brother, I’ll aid you getting to plat more than happy to

Am I reading this right? Are people suggesting shock and surprise that ranked play lists lead to challenging game play? This is the expression that comes to mind: If you can’t take the heat then get out of the kitchen. Ranked play isn’t supposed to be easy. If it was in the past it was because the ranking systems were not doing their job properly. Suck. It. Up.

The odds of getting from one league to another is extremely long and very unlikely

Tea mates are pretty inconsistent so far from getting carried through game to being the top player to people quitting gets pretty annoying after a few games.

I got out of gold ranks in a day. it isnt very hard. w/l ranking system doesnt really make sense though. some really bad people get into diamond because their team carries them.

worked my way from bronze 1 to plat 3, it was pretty easy

If you have a team or clan to play with you should be good but public matches are impossible to rank up in.
