I’m fairly new to the game compared to when the release was. I got it sometime in September of this year. Before Halo all I played was the Battlefield, and COD games. I’m really glad I made the switch, I have discovered Halo takes ALOT more skill and is just really fun to play, but one thing i realized was that Bungie, and maybe 343 takes ranks in the game very seriously. It was the first time I ever heard of a cap on cR. So my questions are, what rank are you? How long did it take you to get to it? How often do you play? What has been your experience with the ranking system in the Halo games? What game types do you play? And to determine if it takes as long as i think it will, or if I just suck, how much cR do you get on average per match? Or do you just not care about rank?

Warrant Officer grade 3 takes forever to get past.
Just wait till you get to General, general grade 1 to grade 4 takes forever.
I have been playing as long as you and i’m a hero. warrant officer took me about 30 min to get through. you’re slow

The higher rank you are the more credits you get a game. You dont rank up faster due to skill really.
Skill helps you get commendations, Daily and Weekly challenges. Other than those 3 things for bonus credits you dont rank up any faster just play more. Custom Challenges now exist but dont offer much credits either.
Dont feel bad if you feel you are ranking up slow. The game has been out for like a year so there will be alot more higher ranks above you.

You are full of it man! Custom challenges are everything now! I can make close to 50,000 Cr in just 3 hours using Customs.

Try using the Target Locator Glitch. It’ll move you through the lower ranks fairly quickly.
