I am aware of what’s going on with the implementation of “TrueSkill2” but am very unhappy with it. I played my HCS placement matches on my main account and tried really hard and went 8-2. I believe I was carried only one game and I should have been ranked higher but I moved on. Later that week I played on my second account and didn’t try in my placement matches and finished 4-6 and placed in plat 6. I don’t believe I played better in those matches and I thought I should be placed in about plat 1ish. This I found extremely frustrating but I decided whatever and just worked on ranking up my second account. I proceeded to lose some games and got demoted to plat 5. Then I went on a 4 game win streak and my rank barely moved. I was confused but I kept playing. I then lost one game and I dropped out of plat 5 into plat 4. I was pissed off at this point because I was getting nothing for winning and losing a lot when I did lose. Then I read about MMR and CSR and found out that I apparently have an inflated CSR. What I don’t understand at all is how if I didn’t do well in placement matches why the game decided I should be in plat 6, an inflated CSR. The game has left me nothing to win and all to lose. I would have prefered to have a deflated CSR so I would feel like I’m progress instead of wasting time. Why wouldn’t the game just put me in a CSR close to my MMR. Please respond as I am fuming over the amount of time I feel I have wasted on ranked matches.
