The ranking system on this game is boring imo personally I’d go back to the halo 2 system of 1-50. I thought that way you could actually get a rough idea of how good they could be , I’m just not a fan of the gold 2 or platinum 5 thing, I can’t remember which halo had the xp system similar to army rankings all the way up to hero , legend etc that was pretty cool, this games just very plain… Also where the hell the medals at?? If your playing team arena and pull off a running riot or a overkill I think it should pop up on screen for your team and even your enemies to see…Imo a few little tweaks could help this game out bigtime!

the military system was the almighty halo reach where halo 3 and reach were the pinnacle of bungie. then they dropped with destiny and their deal with activision whos only real purpose is to sell out the game for PS4
The Bronze - Champion is a much better ranking system than 1- 50.
I think you are confusing a skill ranking system to Progression system. Reach had a non existent ranking system, but the progression system you brought up is not a ranking system. That was a system where anyone can get that rank good or bad. Doesn’t show any “true skill”, just meant that person played a lot.
I do miss the H2 and H3 ranking system, but this system might be better. Also, it’s nice to have season resets, due to in H2 & 3 when you achieved your 50, really no reason to play that playlist anymore.
So you want to brag about something in the game you did? Doesn’t seem like a very team oriented thing to do.

Haha I didn’t say to brag though don’t get it twisted, I just find it all a little boring compared to previous halo’s …I do agree with you though about getting to a 50 and not playing that playlist though.either way I think they should change it a little although I know they won’t obviously
I don’t care much for the ranking system either. I enjoyed the 1-50 a lot more.
I like h5s system better than halo reach and h4s do system. It’s been so long since I played h2 but I do remember h3s rank system. I don’t think that system would be best due to boosters, people stop playing at 50 just to preserve their rank rather than trying to hold it down, it didn’t always match you perfectly based on skill, ect ect. H5 isn’t great either but I’ll take it over reach and 4.
