Don’t get me wrong here I love h5 but, the ranking system is awful. I was ranked in silver for team arena last night. I played all my placement matches solo, I should have waited for a team but everyone was in wz turbo and I was getting impatient, team arena is my favorite. Anyway I had quitters half of my matches, and the ppl that do stick around while I do applaud them for staying are scrubs. My point is I should be ranked based on MY perfomance, not everyone else. It is not right to rank me low because ppl quit or play poorly. Am I expected to carry the whole team? It’s not possible. Look I’m not the best but I’m way too good to be in silver, I should be in platinum, diamond if I have a full team. It will be good for my kda to be in silver but, is that fair to the others in silver? No, please don’t use a ranking system in your next game.
sounds like you need to invest your time into FFA instead.
You are in silver, of course they are scrubs lol You do know your placement takes into wins/loss, K/D, what ranks you are playing against etc right. It takes into effect everything. Once you are placed it is based only on win/loss much like Halo 3 1-50 system.
Heck I have lost all my placement matches and have been put into diamond, why? because I did well on my team every match and we faced onyxs a majority of the time. I was also diamond the season before (yes your previous rank plays a role as well). If you were platinum or diamond there is no way you would be placed silver, even after losing all your matches.
Don’t take it too hard. Ranking each month seems to get more harsh due to the competition and level of play increasing. I was kind of ticked too when I was ranked Platinum on FFA last month only to be ranked Silver 2 after 10 games this month in FFA. Also, I have played 10 games of Slayer, SWAT and Team to place this month and guess what I got ranked in every one—Silver 2. Go figure…
Hang in there and like you said, look at it as an opportunity to improve your KDA.

Look at my service record february I was platinum, March I was silver which I didn’t read into much because I didn’t play for several weeks I had personal stuff going on and was a bit rusty when I came back, but my game is back even stronger now than in February and I just don’t understand what’s going on
It evens out. Play some games and rank up to where you should be.
If you’re placed lower than you should be, you should have no problems climbing to your true rank.
Also, placements definitely do take individual performance into account. Once you’re placed it’s straight W/L.
