I really wish 343 would bring back the halo 3 original ranking system…you had to actually play well and win games to rank up, if not then you lowered in rank. Also everyone you played with could see if you were a 5 star general. I feel like your rank shouldn’t be determined just because you played 4,000 games. I know they attempted to fix it with their silver, diamond, onyx ranks but it doesn’t feel the same. Something about playing with a mix of ranked players (that actually determined their skill rather than play time) where you know what their rank was made it feel like a real combat game. Does anyone else agree with this or is it just me? I feel like all games these days have catered to the population that just spends 40,000 hours playing and tons of money on extra cosmetics.
