The competitive ranking system has me confused. First off I keep running into people who are ranked in the gold bracket and barely have 100 kills with a KDA far into the negatives and a KD of 0.5. I don’t see how they could reach gold status with such low stats. I’m barely ranked bronze 2 and I’m pushing a KDA of 8.5 with just over a 2.0 KD and about 1000 kills so far. Is anyone else having the same issues?
im pushing silver 1/2 for the past 6 hrs i have around a kda of 6 with close to a 1.5kd i have come across people in onyx with kdas and kds in the negatives i have even come across someone that i have better stats than and he was in semi pro so there is an issue with that. i have so many losses i can even dare to think to gt that high due to the way i have been continuously teamed up with bad teams so im allways losing regarless if i go 23/3 its really annoying i lost 140+ points on 3 games i was not happy.

that is strange. I wonder if the ranking system is showing us the wrong stats or if those people are really at that rank. To bad we can’t see our stats here on the website.
It’s a good system, but it needs tweaking. I went MVP on the losing team, KD 1.1, and lost 77 points, taking me down to Silver 2. Also happened to be getting 5 points for wins and -24 for losses beforehand. I am pretty terrible, though.
This happens because the game has been out only 2 days. In the first days ranking will be pretty random. But over the days guys with low kd ratio will in average loose ranking and those with positive win. give it a week or so and it will be very hard for people with kd ratio below 1 to be above silver. (agree that untill then it feels kind of random)
ya but i play the early beta as well and it didn’t reset my rank my w/l is positive and my kd is great im just being punished with really crappy teams
