I know Team Arena and Team Slayer are team games, but imo the current ranking system makes the game unbearable at times unless going in as a full team. I tend to play solo or with one other and I am constantly plagued with teammates who go negative 10+ and tend to lose me the game. If you look at my recent game history I went +7 or more most of the games and teammates are all going negative or crazy negative. I played a game the other day where I went +20 and my entire team goes negative 6 or more. In Halo 3 I remember going into MLG (50) by myself and getting teammates who actually knew how to play and weren’t incompetent. I just feel the current ranking system is flawed, I’m in Diamond and the some of the people I play against or with that are in Onyx or Champ really make me wonder how they even got that rank. I like how they made the ranking system like a moba but they need a true skill system and have levels or something. This ranking system is based on wins and ultimately luck unless you go in as a team. There needs to be a true skill system in place.
I completely agree with the “based on wins” comment. It’s crazy annoying how often people are crazy negative or are just plain quitters.
