Halo 4 needs a ranking system no matter which one.ranking is what keeps people playing a game.i would prefer 1-50 ranking system.even if you 343 dont want to display the 50 on the account you dont have to,but a ranking system is needed.
Frankie has already confirmed that the TrueSkill ranking system will NOT be like that in Reach, but the game will be ranking you with the appropriate opponents skill wise.

My hope is that it is a ranking system that I can spend the next four years attempting to reach the top. 50’s for days in halo 3, Halo 2 on the other hand… That was a real fight just to get to 40 in snipes specifically, much less 50.
They definitely need a ranking system. I saw this guy who had 200 kills and 600 deaths in MM and was an inheritor. You know what he plays.

It’s what keeps SOME people playing the game. Seriously, generalizations, not cool. Not everyone gives a flying -Yoink- about rank, so please don’t assume they do. Now that said, those of us who truly don’t care about rank wouldn’t exactly be hurt if they implemented it.

He wasn’t on my team, he wasw on this guys friends list that i played with. No random in firefight ever outscores me.
