I got demoted 83 experience because my team lost 50-46. I went 13-6, while someone else on my team goes 6-22 this is a problem as it is it an accurate representation of my skill.
Its a beta, as we have said in all the similar threads.
I’ve not played yet but I was watching my brother carry hard every game only to suffer a loss due to bad team mates, upon losing he would get slammed -20 but only get like +8 on a win, I don’t understand the logic needing 3 wins for every 1 loss even when be very consistent good performance.
edit: I’m presuming 343 are encouraging players to team up & communicate for better odds of success.
You probably was too busy camping, or just not actually helping out you’re teammates kill you’re opponents and keeping you’re teammates alive, you are worried about yourself too much.

This is a little ignorant, I’ve seen all too often players just sprinting in to battles recklessly not giving you enough time to support them as they are over extending.

I almost have half the amount of assists than kills
Happens to me, too. I carry hard, we’re talking thirty kills to eleven deaths on a couple different instances. For some reason, I’m a lot better at this beta than any Halo in the past. I’m by far the best player in the game, consistently, and yet if my team loses fifty to four-three, even though I got seventy percent of our team’s total score, I lose rank like a madman.
Funny enough, I have obviously had a couple of bad games; games where I go ten kills to fifteen deaths or something like that. My team will lose fifty to less than thirty and yet I will only lose half of the rank I lost when I carried hard with thirty kills to eleven deaths. And this has happened to me a couple of different times. For some reason, if my team gets crushed and I just perform horribly, I lose less rank than if I carried hard and was by far the best player in the game (but still lost).

Yes but even then you can either help them out or at least pick up their pieces. Take advantage of an opportunity.

It amounts to who you play against and who you lose to. If you are playing lower ranked people and lose you will lose a lot more xp, but if you win against higher ranked and skilled players than you earn a lot.
thats what happens when you lose. you shouldnt be rewarded for losing
