Ranking system is messed

So I’ve been bothered by the ranking system in halo 5 since the begging. Sometimes I would have a +13kd and the rest of my team would suck and we would lose, bringing my rank down.

I just played a game where my team was DESTROYED however I had done very well, and my rank went down.

I looked at the ranks and levels of everyone in the game.
Enemy team: all platinum
sr 76
sr 60
sr 53
sr 63
My team:
sr 78 platinum rank 3(me)
Sr 53 unranked
Sr 11 platinum
Sr 7 platinum

The sr 7 and 11 and just around 8-10 deaths and one had 0 kills the other 2.

Matchmaking matches you with people around your rank, however, those ranks are based on wins and losses not on k/d.

So the sr 11 and 7, looking at they’re k/d were probably carried all the way to platinum by the rest of theyre team in other games doing all the work!

How is this fair? This system is completely messed up and unfair. Your rank should be based on k/d not wins/losses, if not you’ll be ranked with -Yoink- players!

Fix this system, please! I can’t stand being on teams with bad players and christmas noobs ranked at platinum because they were carried! Its unfair.

I’m pretty sure the matching is based on K/D but ranking up is based on W/L. Seems that’s the way it’s working when I play.

unranked players are my biggest issue (after the 8 PM server latency issue).

A true low CSR unranked player can unbalance a whole game as they go 1-15.

I constantly get matched with unranked players.

This also happened in pre-season when I was Platinum 6 (I’m now finding it hard to get out of Gold due to very poor team mates, plus the latency issue).

Match making itself is generally broken (particularly in Slayer).

What happened to Gold v Gold, Platinum v Platinum. (I don’t think there are enough players).
