You lost a lot. Best you beat was 2 diamonds. You even lost to a platinum and a gold one game.

Last season’s ranks are also taken into account. You had 0.8KD in Silver, so why do you think that the game would place you high?
If you want to rank high, then play the game and fight your way up, just like most of us have to. If you enjoy playing Halo then this shouldn’t be an issue.

Keep in mind that doubles is also a little skewed. It’s much more difficult to get into the higher ranks in doubles than other play lists.

Doubles placement ranks are weird. My friend and I played all 10 placement matches together and he carried the team 7 out of 10 games yet I got a better rank in the end (Gold 6 vs. Silver 5).
We weren’t exactly playing pros by any means, but I still don’t understand how I got that much higher of a rank:

I honestly think the ranking system in place for halo 5 is kinda broken. It is only based on win loss, and not at all in individual skill. you can go crazy positive with like 30 kills and only 2 deaths, but because your team was garbage, you lost. Or it can be the other way around, you can play really bad and go something like 4 and 20, but because your team played really well, you won the game. I honestly think paired with your victory, your placement on the games leader-board should also play in affect. Like in my first example, you went 30 kills and 2 deaths and beat everyone, including the enemy team, as far as stats go, so then you will actually go up, but only a little though because your team did still lose.

but no, this happened last season i was ranked, I was playing with champion 14, champion 2, onyx 2037, champion 73, champion 57, and a few other super high onyx level players, I got 2nd place and got ranked diamond 2. ._.
