So I took some 3 minutes to check your game history with the assumption that you just completed the last placement match necessary for a rank.
Last match played in Arena is a Team Slayer match, so obviously I go with the assumption that you’re complaining about Team Slayer, as you were also Ranked as Gold 4 there.
And yes, out of 10 Team Slayer Matches, you won three, they’re clear as day as well considering your team has a lower total score than the enemy team.
I assume you are thinking of Team Arena and played Team Slayer and got those mixed together somehow.
Just to be safe, you can tell us you won 9 out of 10 Team Slayer matches, but unless you can show us some actual proof for that claim which contradict the actual game History that’s open for us to read as a book, which is a recording straight from the game itself, we’re not going to believe you, or I’m not at least.

most the time im about to check someones service record they are way on top of it already
It also caount what you were ranked on last season and how well did you performed those games. Also check the people you are paired up against it gives you an idea were you’ll end up.
What about how myself and a friend who was ranked at diamond 4 at the time and I was unranked partied up and went into Team Arena and matched against a team of 4 that were anywhere from onyx 2000 to mid champion. In what realm is that even remotely fair? If the game is going to put you in games based off of perceived player skill and not actual rank then what’s the point of having the visible ranking system? Also why do teams of 2 just get absolutely ****** by the matchmaking system where we always have to play teams of 4 and get a pair of randoms on our team. Also our teammates are always lower ranked than we are the enemies are higher ranked. FFS fix the matchmaking.
Edit: just in case you were wondering, the game I’m speaking of where the matchmaker decided to put myself and my friend in a game far above our rank level because of the fact that in previous seasons we were mid onyx is right here
this thread is funny. while I don’t mind the new way of ranking, the one thing that does bother me (if I am understanding properly) is that you rank down even if you were the “MVP” like they had back in the old games. so if I have 35 kills and the rest of my team sucked and we lose by even 1 kill, I still rank down. not fair.
and I don’t think I deserve a better ranking than anyone. I’m just stating that the ranking system is flawed because it ranks the whole team and not the individual. plus I share my account with my bf who is new to halo and i have an 8 year old brother and multiple nephews and nieces younger than him who play on my account so my rank itself is not my concern. im simply stating a fact. no need to bash on my rank when you know nothing about it.
You deserve gold 4, I looked at your games as well and you lost to golds so what makes you think you deserve higher than them?

so the reason for this you never said what rank you were last season. that a huge factor, the game wont make you play bronze and silver in your ranking games if you are a plat or diamind player regularly. so ill assume you are a diamond player. one of the update changes was high onyx and champ players now instead of waiting 20-60 mins for a match to play others at their skill will be thrown into games with some diamonds in order to make sure they are not waiting around forever.
Even if you spank 100 straight games of silvers, do you think you should be ranked higher than gold?

It’s a team game. Not a team game based off of individual performance, a la Reach Arena. Once your 10 placement matches are done, if you want to rank up, your team has to win. It’s pretty straight forward.
