Yes, I know there have been posts about this already. I don’t care if they’re saying this is the most accurate system yet. I don’t see how that can be possible. It seems more like the ranking system has a pre-set rank for everyone and, no matter how many wins you get, you’ll eventually get to the rank. I should not be going 18-2 over 20 games and not gaining any ground. The worst example was last night:
I’m a diamond player and my teammate is platinum in doubles. We got matched against a champion and onyx team. After we lost (obviously…nice work matchmaking), we still lost as many points as we would have if we lost to any other team (I think around 15 or so). Then, when we played our next game against a diamond and platinum team (should be judged as a fair match), we won and only got one point back. How are we ever supposed to level up if we need to win 15 games just to make up one loss? This new system is very frustrating and I’m really hoping it’s changed next season.
