This new ranking system just isn’t working out for me and many others.
Here is my example and reason. Last night I played my Qualitying matches in SWAT, and I won all 10 games, I have a 2.1 k/d and an 8.8 KDA in the playlist. I figured I would get Onyx atleast. No not even close. I got Platinum 5! Are you kidding me?!? PLATINUM 5!!! Wow!
My other reason is this ranking system is suppose to categorize the players to get more evenly matched games but it really doesn’t at all. I wish so badly that Halo 5 had the 1-50 ranking system. If only somehow they could bring that back.
Or perhaps those ranked above you did much better.
Personally I’ve stayed the same in one list and went down the other, and both where I feel I should be. Guess you have more work to do to get where you want bro.

I don’t see how I need to do more work, being is it was placement matches, there isn’t a lot of people that have a 2.1 k/d or a 8.8 KDA in the playlist. Not to mention 100% win percentage. It doesn’t make sense to me. I’ve seen people with with awful stats and have onyx or better. And that’s not just the Swat playlist.

Stats alone mean nothing. You having a 2.1 K/D doesn’t mean you’re a better player than a 1.1 K/D, it just means you’re playing against people who are worse than you. Going 2.1 against a group of golds/platinums doesn’t mean you could do it against diamond/onyx players, which is why you were put in platinum.
If the ranking system was K/D and W/L alone people would be camping and quitting all over the place - especially as quits don’t count as qualifying games.
If you aren’t ranked in FFA and play 5-9 games without getting any kills then your FFA gets broken and you can’t play it again until they reset all the ranks

It’s a team based game, if you win 10/10 games you should be ranked higher. Also it was qualifying matches. I played people that wasn’t ranked yet. I also played a full team on Onyx players twice. This ranking flawed stop denying it. Not only did I get robbed but Naded won 14/14 have almost a 3 k/d and a 14.0 KDA and he is a diamond 1. So set there and deny it when you can’t. Also what your saying is if you win 3/10 games a negative KDA, but play champions you should get a higher rank? That’s stupid. This game needs 1-50 ranking system there was nothing wrong with it, and that’s how Halo should be ranked. Not the reach system.
yea qualifying ranking is weird. i wish they would release the forumlas tehy use…i dont get it at all. i feel liek the idea of this ranking system if perfect, but teh execution was really bad.
at least you will get some easy games and dominate for a while.
