Initially i thought this ranking system would be a good idea, but im kinda disappointed with it, because it doesn’t really reflect skill. The 10 games thing to get your rank seems to be inconsistant on giving out ranks, i nearly lost all my ten games of team arena, i played shockingly yet i got diamond. I rather work up to things instead of generously being given rank that high (Kinda high im guessing).
But anyways, my suggestion is to make the ranking system more similar to Csgo’s ranking system. Csgo does something very similar with Win/Loss to rank up, but they also add in skill via MVP medals. Which means kill and KD doesnt neccasarily help you rank up in csgo, its helping the team that ranks you up. Im not saying mvp medals should be added to Halo, because most playlists arnt round based anyways. But yeah how about making it so your more likely to rank up if you have a positive KD for your game. (So your supporting your team and not the enemy) or at least have good Assists to help the team.
Kinda bad advice to 343 but yeah hope everyone gets the gist of what im saying. I dont want this game to turn into ‘Get the most kills to rank up!’, but a mix of both team play and skill. Since anyone can be carried into a high rank (Same can be said for csgo, but it is harder to be carried due to needing MVP medals to rank up mostly)
