So I have been thinking about this for a very very long time. With the ranked system in previous games, bosters, derankers, and noobs plagued it and made it -Yoink!-. I learned that the 1-50 is flawed in itself! So instead of trying to fix it, they should scrap it and throw the idea in the trash. Luckily, 343 is good at that so shouldn’t be a problem.
Instead of 1-50, Halo 4 should be Mop-Fried Keesh.
I know what you are thinking “Sounds awesome! But how does it work?” Well [Insert name here], I am glad you asked! The Mop to Fried Keesh ranking system (or M-FKRS as we nicknamed it) will have you go through various ranks such as pickle, bicycle, Eiffel Tower, Pentagon, and so on. This will eliminate the need for a number system because there is NO ORDER! its totally random! Never know what you are gonna get next.
All players will be paired with their own ranks. For example, You have the rank of Hamburger, then you will be paired with other hamburgers. For balance when playing with friends of different ranks we have two options.
1:We average the two (or more) ranks. For example, Hamburger and Bucket would be paired up with Toothpaste.
2: The second option we have is you are paired with people of your rank, and your friend has no one of his. What happens to your friend you might ask? Well since pairing him with someone of your rank was unfair to begin with, he will spawn and automatically die every 3 seconds after he spawns. But to add more variety, he dies in a different animation every single time! This will keep the game fun for infinity (and maybe beyond).
With this ranking system, I see nothing but good things come from this. 343, if you are listening, please incorporate this fool proof system into Halo 4 immediately, or else you game will inevitably suck.
(For those of you with no sense of humor, I would like to point out this is a JOKE! This is not directed at any one person or persons, simply a post to brighten the mood a bit. Hopefully you enjoy and have a few laughs :D)
You are welcome!
Stay Frosty, my friends.
