So me an my buddy sat tonight and played all 10 of the slayer matches. We played all 10 together, same number of wins and losses, and after we were done he got gold 6 while I got silver 5. I don’t get how that works?
Because it looks at your individual performance as well as if you and your team wins the match
Win/loss is the primary method of ranking, then it considers personal stats. Basically your wins put you both in Silver then your friend was boosted up by his personal performance.
one of my friends and I had the same issue She only got platnum 1 and i got platnum 2 same win/loss only she got more kills and a better K/D performance overall it is still broken.
Not broken, it counts your team and individual performance. So your friend did better then you did individually.

No, it gave me Onyx in preseason for swat, preformed about the same this season and got Gold 1. I probably deserve it.

Swat and FFA were the most broken in preseason. It was mention that those two gametype were getting tweak because basically everyone was onyx loll.
