Ranking please oh please

Am I the only one out there that gets bored with killing people way below your skill? Guests? It is not only that but if you play MLG the kids your end up with on your team 50% of the time don’t even understand the game mechanics. In any other playlist but arena I find the games very uneven about 90% of the time.

I am curious if it would be possible to strenghten the ranking in Reach and if not please 343 put one in H4.

I am not sure why the ranking system was removed from this game vs all the others but it was one of the major reasons why Halo is so much better than COD and other shooters. I would probably play more COD if they put a ranking system in. Military rank is no different than the prestige system in COD and the 1-50 system for Halo I loved because it matched even games 90% of the time.

I understand it works in the backround…but it doesn’t work very well apparently. Maybe if you just improved the way it works in the backround I would be happy :slight_smile:

Arena seems very capable of matching up players by their ingame ranking. In most of my arena games, the losing team is within ten points of the winning one. They could, instead of adding TrueSkill, add Arena rankings to the more “hardcore” playlists like MLG, SWAT, Snipers, Squad Slayer, and Action Sack.

Arena is just awful, and as much as the new waypoint looks cool I want ranks in game not more than one click away, in fact less than one click. uneven games dont bother me to much, xp ranks instead of skill ranks is wrong xp should be tertiary to skill and win/loss, not have primacy over them
