I just saw not 1, not 2, but 3 guys online, two were onyx and one was gold, I checked their service record and ALL of them have played less than 20 games, and one of 'em barely won 11, so I am so mad because I have played 134 games and won 93 and I can’t even get to gold, that’s very, very annoying.
That’s one thing I don’t like about the ranking system is the limited deranking. You can be carried to Onyx/Semi in your qualifier matches, but you can only fall back so far in rank. You cant deprogress from a gold to a silver and so on. You can fall back and forth between grades of a certain rank but never below the rank it self. I could sit in a corner and grenade suicide myself non stop for 20 games straight, and I’d never fall out of onyx.
Yeah, if you don’t win all placement matches you get a crap rating. Although you can exit a placement match with no penalty.
