I played my qualifying matches a few days ago wherein teammates quit out on me in 5 of those games. Of the 10 qualifying games I played, I only won 2, giving me a rank of Gold 1. Tonight, my fireteam joined me and they all qualified tonight. Nobody quit out, and we only won 2 games, yet one teammate ranked Gold 6, another ranked Gold 3. Would someone from 343 care to explain the vast difference in our ranking? I get the impression that when I ranked, I got Gold 1 because my random teammates quit out and I got punished for it. It’s definitely feeling like 343 favors certain players/teams over others. In all of tonight’s games, aim assist worked for everybody except me. I couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn if I was standing on the inside. Even needler spikes didn’t connect, and the enemy was right in front of me! Hit a guy with 4 hydra rockets and he still manages to Spartan charge me to death. I get hit with a bullet and I can’t even sprint. WTH, 343???
Qualifying matches: Most likely dependant on what ranks those you lost and won against were, rather than how many matches you won.
For instance, winning 10 matches against bronze players is hardly as big of an achievement as winning one match against Onyx level players and losing nine matches to Champion level players.
Not connecting shots: Lag.
