Has anyone else been experiencing inconsitencies with ranking? This is easier to see if you’re onyx and you can see your raw CSR. I’ve noticed that the number moves completely randomly. You’d think that the bigger margin you win/lose by the more the CSR would move, but I’ve won games by 20-25 kills and my CSR has moved by 10-12 points, then I lose by 2 kills and my CSR drops by 20 points. It’s impossible to get above 1500 for more than a game or two. This ranking system is awful enough already do you think we can at least get some consistency when it comes to ranking!?
It’s not inconsistent in they way that you think it is. When you lose a lot of points that means that is usually because you lost to lesser skilled players, and when you don’t gain much it also means you won against lesser skilled players.
Or the fact that I went 7-3 in Swat with a KDA above 3 while two of my buddies went 4-6 with a KDA below 1. I get thrown in plat and they get thrown in Onyx.
Makes sense to me. As for Onyx I believe your rank wont budge if you don’t play other Onyx players and its based off that. Performance takes no role when effecting your CSR.
