It’s great that 343i has came out pretty quickly addressing the feedback regarding its current system which I also believe to be a problem. My concern is that there does not seem to be the same energy in addressing the feedback regarding the customization and how limiting it is compared to previous Halos, even when 343i repeatedly championed the notion of returning back to it’s roots with Halo 6.
The current customization system is extremely limiting; you can no longer choose your favorite armor colors via Primary, Secondary, or detail, you can no longer equip any armor to your spartan as it is now armor core specific locked, and the colors of the armor are all scratched/washed out compared to previous titles like Halo 3.
I do not understand the approach 343i is doing with these customization changes but they are extremely worrisome especially after making so many promises as to not change what did not need changing. Having different armor color textures is fine but the fact that there is no option to have a clean coat of the armor colors I want (just like previous halo titles) makes it seem to be a cash crab move.
