Something similar happened to a friend and I in the swat playlist. He ended up getting platinum and I at gold. The difference was his kd was better than mine. So I wonder if it takes that into consideration as well.

I could be wrong on this, but I’m pretty sure that the system used to judge your ten placement matches is much more complicated than just pure win/loss. Win/loss is what kicks in after you’ve been placed in a division, and is what will determine whether you move up or down the tiers.
It has to be the case, I did do better than him though out placement so that makes sense.
Played with a friend in swat to qualify him. I’m onyx so we were playing against onyx players. We win 10 and he has a +KD overall and gets platinum. Another friend of mine won 4 of his 10 and ended up in diamond with a -KD o.o
Are you able to progress. I’m a silver so I guess my question is can I move up to gold?
