This is probably the best ranking for halo 4 and i want this to happen so we don’t get any bs like halo reach an d halo3. Halo 3 was probably the best ranking if they could’ve fix the glitch that got people stuck at a certain rank if they played too much were as boosters could just play 20 games straight and win all and could have a lvl 50 long as they one every single game in lonewolves. If they fixed this and added in Halo reach’s progressive ranking this could be great. Now i know it sounds confusing because im horrible when it comes to giving you examples but if ill try my best to give you a visual.
You know how Halo 3 have a # level rank 1-50 and a class rank on the side like sergeant or brigadier grade 2 etc? well what if we had halo 3’s ranking where you play with people you’re level (i.e. level 32) but you also go up like halo reach with a rank but rank is not what matches you up with other players it’s just experience points over time. Also the rank is how you only get armor like halo reach except fix it so it doesn’t take 2 years to rank up like halo reach for the average player. that’s what P.O. a lot of halo fans is the fact it takes so long to rank up but before each halo game was 3 years apart yet you are having halo 4 coming out so soon no one is getting to inheritor you guys even had to add in huge jackpot and bonuses and custom challenges because you made bad calculations that not everyone is going to spend their life away for a game they love. As an original halo fan i like that you could get to max rank quickly but Halo reach was really bad on how it takes 2 years for an average player.
So you can always got up and down on the level and never get stuck and that’s what matches you up like Halo Reach’s bronze, silver, gold, onyx except its back to levels like halo 2/3 but rank is how you get all you’re armors, not one is based on level. so that way no one boosts like halo 3 and halo reach. and to reach max rank in halo 4 if you have no life you can get it in a month but if you’re a true halo fan and play casually like halo is supposed to play it will only take you like 2-4 months of playing like 3 hours a day.
No one has ever agreed with me but when devs have tried out my idea they realize that the community is wrong and that me, just a single person figured out how to fix that game. CoD players never learned and said kills turned into points and carried over death would never work but it worked out great for Homefront which solved camping majority and increased teamwork. And MW3 realized this and made it the support class which is the most popular class and I mentioned this back in mw2. I know what I’m talking about here. As much as you can try and argue that you don’t see it working but it will work. Trust me all predictions after years of study and education in the gaming industry I know 343 you guys know it will work. I have done the math and I know I will work. Also make the level carry over and work on all matchmaking so there is no way to keep a 50 so no one just sells the account that it’s actually just to line up a good match that is equal. So you can have level 30 sergeants on one team and a variety of ranks but are all level 30s on the other and yet it’s blanked. Do you see what I mean? It fixes every problem. Also don’t make any achievements in matchmaking. If there is one thing MW games got right, is it never had achievements and that’s what brought down halo 3 and so on about cheeves in MP. Nothing ticked me off more then to play halo and here my first halo 3 match “does anyone want to boost” please keep it to just SP and custom games and forge and maybe custom firefight. So we don’t get that boosting problem anymore. No cheeve ranks and levels please we don’t want halo wars boosting again.
