I am a casual player with limited skill. My KD is 0.81 overall but I have marginal positive KDs in slayer, extraction and dominion. Halo Reach was my first shooter and I was very bad but, have improved a little since then as my youngest child and grandchildren gave me the Halo 4 Guide book.
I understand that a completive ranking system is on its way some time soon in the new year (CSR). Further, I understand that there will be a different CSR for each game type.
For those of us, like myself, who do not understand what determines a CSR or Halo 3 rank (ie lvl 1-50), could those Halo 3 players who do understand what you actually have to do, and what determines a rank in each different gametype, please give some insight what I (we) are likely to expect and will be required to do in order to progress up the ranks for each game type.
While I understand that KD and obviously winning as a team in Slayer, SWAT and Team Snipers is what is important in those game types, I would imagine that KD is less relevant in say King of the Hill,Oddball, Capture the Flag and so on. Therefore,what does go into determining rank progression in those latter game types?
