Nah. In my opinion warzone isn’t good for ranked. It has req (pay to win) and too people with different abilities. In my opinion it’s a bad idea
Not only would it not work in general, but with games already relatively slow to find as it is it’d just get even worse.
So no, it wouldn’t be cool. Or even pretty cool. Or kinda cool. Or cool in any conceivable form.

I’m sure there are people that have dropped cash on req packs, but you amass a truly astounding number of items simply through req points. Would I suggest an SR15 go into warzone turbo against a team of 152s, obviously not, but calling it pay to win is a bit of a stretch.
Having said that, I agree that ranked warzone makes zero sense.

People will say “P2W” for anything that involves money + items that can give an advantage, regardless of how large or marginal said advantage is. Runes of Magic had entire tiers of equipment locked behind paywalls, so PvP any free players were playing at a substantial disadvantage to paying ones. H5’s a lot more mild there so I wouldn’t necessarily call it P2W by my own definitions, but the Mythic Packs come a little too close for comfort - particularly since they’re all still on the Xbox Store.
Regardless, Warzone’s just too chaotic for a formal ranking system. It already has the universal hidden ranking built-in, but it doesn’t need another on top of that.
Warzone as a ranked game mode? My answer is hell Yoink no, if that would happen I would snap my halo 5 disc for the 2nd or 3rd time.

It is kinda pay to win or play the Yoink out of the game.
Well warlords is there for a reason. Even though you need a team of 6 or 12 to play it.

No thanks, there would be rampant quitting just like ranked BTB. It would be a disaster for solo players and small fireteams.

I remember how badly spaced out the ranks were. Either everyone was in the single digits or the same dozen clans had 50’s because there were modders involved and they just went back and forth between wins and loses.

That first month or so was amazing though. I had 16 friends and family basically move in to my house on h2 launch night. I upgraded the electric. 
clans name was halo apartment.
We beat the campaign, and started playing major clan for the first 2 weeks, and broke up into teams for minor clan later.
Somebody we beat in a major clan match told us there were ranked leaderboards. So we went to check our rank, and we were in the top 10.
It was mind blowing.
Eventually we all had to go back to our lives but that was a great great month.
I dont miss the modem standby cheating, back then, people were actually making and selling standby pedals on ebay

I’ll agree with you there. When it initially launched, everyone was super thrilled and excited to be part of a clan and be fighting together against others. After a while, it died out which was about the same time that matchmaking was beginning to flood with cheaters.

! Could’ve been all the cheating and exploits that made it die out. There was btb for us though.
On topic though, it would be nice if there was a score leaderboard for hwzff,mwzff,lwzff. Whats the reason for even having points and even a score? Reach had this. Highest killcount too. Map high scores, etc etc.
If youre going to have ranked warzone , separate the stats with regular warzone too. You cant tell if a player has been playing heroic warzone firefight, or going against real players.

Have you tried looking at HaloTracker.com? Its not nearly as in-depth as the old HaloCharts used to be but its better than nothing.
