Ranked Slayer/Ranked Doubles (and not this Attrition BS mixed in) is what I, and so may more, want to play. Forget player numbers, forget the specific reasoning for this or that, and give the players what they want to play. I’d play this game so much more if I could have those two game types as often as I wanted instead of slogging through CTF, Oddball, and Strongholds waiting for Slayer in ranked. Or waiting two weeks at a time until Doubles drops again, where I barely play at all until I see it’s back in rotation. I want to play slayer/doubles competitively with my friends and as of right now that just doesn’t happen as often as it should. Implement some of the best Forge maps into matchmaking (lose Detachment altogether, especially in Doubles) and that would go a long way to making some players happy and playing more consistently.
It might as well be ranked slayer now since that’s how most people play it anyway so clearly that’s what the people want. I’d love to see it
Maybe they should have listened to us a year ago. We wouldn’t be here with players like me, down from Diamond 6 to Platinum 6 because we’ve decided this is a social playlist now (due to the lack of a real social BR start playlist).

I won’t play a match that’s over 90ms ping. Auto AFK/leave. 100ms+ shouldn’t be a thing at this point when there’s such a clear advantage in favor of the player on a 10-40ms connection. !@#$ that.

If the game is unwinnable (even the guy going -12 thinks he’s a slayer) I just stop shooting and start sliding around the map. I shouldn’t have to deal with these people due to the fact that 343 seems to think eliminating skill gap is the move. No thank you. Next.

I’m not breaking a sweat for the guy who last game thought “do you guys wanna help me over here? what use are you” was productive comms. Flip your mic up and stay quiet like the rest of us if that’s what you have to say. I hear that and you’re losing 80 matches in a row. I do not care about rank. I will ruin your experience and sleep like a baby.
Season 3 IS the make or break for this game. If season 3 is a flop, it’s over for Halo. I have 0 faith in season 3 bringing the actual changes and content we’ve been asking for for 14 months now.
