Well first lets assume ranked playlist are confirmed.
Next I want to ask in a ranked playlist will 343 allow more than 2 local players ? Any info on that ?
I really hated when there were 3-4 of us being forced to play social.
Also will a team of 3 be matched against a team of 3. This used to happen in H:3 but not in H:R ?
EDIT: I am not talking about guests - I am talking about ppl with gold accounts !!!
I’d rather have no guests in ranked at all, they almost always suck
> I’d rather have no guests in ranked at all, they almost always suck
^ This. however, guests should be allowed, but 1, and no more than 1. too many times in Social when I have four other people and two of the guests are bad. my backpack can carry some ppl, but not two guests!
No matter how good you are, playing on a screen sharing two players is always going to put you at a disadvantage, meaning the players on your team are going to suffer because of that.
Keep guests & local players out of ranked, keep them in Social.
Gah !!! who said anything about guests ?

Gaaaahh !!! No I dont want guests in ranked either. Just tell me about player with gold accounts !!!
Meh. If the max party size in ranked was 2 id be worried. Since its local limited like that i don’t bother. Stastically theres 1-2 xbox 360’s in almost every home in the US. just have your friends bring there xbox over?
thats what ive always done with my friends i assumed that was the norm.

I live in India - here its common for ppl interested in video games to make friends with ppl having xboxes :). so we tend have 3-4 players on i big screen. !!! thats why i asked.

Then i would think having that many accounts playing at once would be detrimental to your play simply because of how reduced each players screen is. In ranked that would effect you a lot. Better off sticking to social if thats the norm for you.

What disadvantage? Except for that the game will be less detailed I mean. If you have played the game long enough you will catch up every movement anyway. If two people share the same screen it is easier to have better teamwork. Also, the smaller screen you have, the slower the aiming feels and the easier it is to hit a moving target.
Keeping guests in Social is okey, but taking out other local players from ranked I disagree with.

Luckily l have a 42inch LCD - so when 4 of us play everyone gets 21 inch tv screen size :D.
But then it does become hard to play alone on a 42 inch screen :(.

I played a majority of my halo 3 career on a 52 inch flat screen HD tv alone. didn’t bother me much.
Who cares about guests, honestly? When did Halo become less about having fun and more about ranking up and winning?
Play to fun, not to win.
Guests do not belong in ranked. It becomes too easy for ppl to boost.
if every one has gold accounts then i dont see a problem
