Why not allow people to bring guests into ranked? Allowing them into all ranked playlists can definitely liven up the dead ranked playlists. It could also help some folks get near their desired rank with the population boost. All that’s left playing ranked are teams of level 50s who have been playing nonstop since this game came out. The main account playing could still gain rank and the guest obviously wouldn’t. Plus if guests are allowed into ranked playlists you could change the Team Slayer playlist into a CE 4v4 playlist since TS wouldn’t be necessary anymore. Doing this would eliminate a little bit of the cross game playlists issues as well with the exception of BTB and couple other playlists.
Is there some unwritten rule against this? Does this sound logical? What is everyone’s thoughts?
Why not just not give them ranks. Ranks are meaningless when the matching system is broken. I often see level 50s paired with 10s, how does that make sense.

But a large number of people don’t know how to do this, they just log in a guest profile. And as I mentioned in my first post, main accounts would gain rank and guests wouldn’t. I personally never have guests cause I only have one controller.
I’m just proposing this idea to ultimately disperse the Team Slayer playlist population over the H2C, H2A, H3, and H:CE playlists. This would minimize cross game playlist quitting issues. The playlist population spike could potentially give 343 the ability to change the search parameters so 50s don’t get matched with level 10s etc. Plus they could change TS to a CE 4v4 playlist, that would give CE fans what we’ve been wanting.

In my opinion, it’d probably be cool if that were to happen, but not if the second player had a guest account. it would make more sense having an actual account so that their stats would be saved.
