Ok, this has not been announced yet. But it got me thinking. How many of us would spend money on a ranked playlist dlc. Maybe have three modes, ranked team slayer, team objective, and team doubles. 1-50 standard rank, just like halo 2 & 3.
So, would anyone buy this DLC? How much would you spend at most?
it was confirmed MONTHS ago that Halo 4 will have a ranking system(as well as a progression system. Progression unlocks skins, weapons, armor, mods etc. while rank matches you up with players similar to your skill). However, it will NOT be the horribly abused 1-50 that near ruined halo 3 for many, and caused bungie to create the arena in halo reach. Instead it will be a brand new system, on which very few details have been given.
It will be there. Don’t worry.
And any company that would release such a thing as ranking in DLC is a terrible company. Then players who don’t get it would miss out on a huge part of the game, and that would just make 343 seem like cheap -Yoinks!- who purposely separated a core part of matchmaking to sell to the public later for more money. Halo will be completely dead to me the day its makers stop caring.

People really just can’t let go of seeing their TrueSkill.
It’s almost as bad as the people saying that Six and Jorge are alive.
i would buy it only for 10 bucks only because i would buy any thing halo 4 comes out depending on how much cost or what u get

Actually they said they would TRY to work on finding a system that cant be abused like 1-50. we were never confirmed that there would be one in the game. Since we havent heard anything about it yet kind of leans toward no but who knows maybe they did figure it out and will announce it closer to launch.
