I can find any matches in ranked (without any preferences set).
I am playing in Germany / Central Europe and in the the hours before the evening I do not find games. In the evening (starting around 6pm CET/CEST) it get’s better, but I do want to play in the day especially at weekends.
Cant remember having such problems with H5 or any Halo before that.
I easily find Quick Play matches, but i dont want to play with the pistol and randomized stuff. I want proper Multiplayer
Are there any know number regarding the ranked player count or any metric regarding player count per playlist or region?

Halo Infinite is so unpopulated during non-event weeks, and further unpopulated in Ranked, that people in the US match Bronze and Silver with Platinum and Onyx. Outside of the US where Halo Infinite is borderline nonexistent, I’m surprised you can find enough people to play Ranked at all.
Would be great if 343 had a population map like Halo 3 had. Would be great if Microsoft released the player population of Halo Infinite at all.
The only thing we know are the Steam activity numbers, which you can assume are at highest stretch 20% of all players.
Basically just take the current Steam population when you play, multiply it up to x5, and consider that number is the entire planet population online, then consider 0.0001% of people probably are playing ranked, then divide by likeliness they’re in your country’s server. Obviously I’m exaggerating a bit, but most people only play Halo for fun or events, not Ranked. I haven’t been able to find a Ranked match in MCC in years, so that weekly challenge never gets done.

You already have the answer. Halo Infinite is not that popular in europe. So best chance to find matches is during peek playtime in the evening. Best chance to fin ranked is in fact from 6 PM to 11 PM .
During event weeks its possible find more matches non-ranked. Usually the events are not played in ranked playlist.
that’s strange, i’m in the UK and find games near instantly in ranked.
