Yeah but there’s a big difference in Onyx 1705 in crossplay and onyx 1534 in solo/duo.
No beef here man, if anyone doesn’t deserve onyx it is me - it just supports what I was saying about team disparity affecting the matchmaking process. It isn’t accurate and needs an utter overhaul. The algorithm in particular
It depends on the team. When I play with my friends we spend more time talking, goofing off, and doing other things…
But we want to play with the more classic Halo feel with BR starts and friendly fire. So ranked is our only option. But the matchmaking and desync are so bad that most have moved on to other games.

This pretty much sums up how I play. 99% of my games are with friends and family and we like ranked because we want to be challenged - god knows the challenge system doesn’t cut it after all.
Regardless of whether or not our team is balanced (it isn’t - we cannot play ranked anymore due to the recent changes) we should still be able to.
They need to fix the matchmaking system. I don’t mind never getting to onyx again - I was always traditionally a plat 5/diamond 1 player anyhow. Not being able to play in there (like I said - 99% of my games are with friends and family) just limits further and already limited game.
